Meet Lexie Durand
Originally from Rhode Island, Lexie brings over 10 years of experience in dermatology and has been a practicing licensed aesthetician in Connecticut for the past three years, specializing in advanced skincare and brows. What began as a small part of her esthetics practice quickly became her niche, with a passion for creating naturally beautiful, face-framing brows. Her approach combines precision, artistry, and a calming, personalized experience, ensuring every appointment feels both relaxing and empowering. She believes there's nothing better than healthy, glowing skin paired with beautifully tailored brows to help clients look and feel their absolute best.
Lexie will be working PT on Wednesdays initially. She will be traveling to Bali (how amazing, right!?) later this month. When she returns in September she will be switching her schedule to Fridays and every other Saturday.
Meet Alyssa
Alyssa Forcier was born and raised right here on the shoreline of CT. She's a Licensed Esthetician with a passion for helping clients feel confident and beautiful. Her empathetic and professional nature make working with her easy and enjoyable. Her previous experience includes shaping and tinting brows at the Benefit Brow Bar and other salons around CT. Additionally, she is a teacher at Academy Di Capelli preparing students for an exciting career in Aesthetics. Brows have always been her favorite service and are what inspired her to pursue esthetics in the first place. She's so excited to meet new clients, create a welcoming experience, and help everyone feel their best!
Alyssa will be working PT on Mondays, Thursday evenings and every other Saturday. (*schedules are always subject to change)
A NOTE FROM JENNIE
For those of you who have been following along over the last several months (for almost a year, actually), already know that I have been taking my time with the hiring process.
My goal was to find someone who could not only deliver the same type of service and skillset that you have come rely on but also someone you would genuinely enjoy visiting with. The process took longer than expected but it paid off. I'm so happy that I found not one, but TWO amazing Brow Artists/Estheticians!

When I first launched Sixth House back in 2022, the vision was always bigger than products. I wanted to create rituals that help people feel more connected to their skin, bodies and to themselves.
The NEW Sixth House Studio is going to be the physical expression of that. A space where you can slow down, enjoy our rituals, experience our products, receive intentional touch and guidance that feels personal rather than forced. A place that brings together skincare, expert brow styling, ancient wisdom, education and community.
The Sixth House was born from a personal awakening. After years in the beauty industry and a pivotal astrology reading that introduced the concept of the 6th house as the center of health and wellness—I realized something deeper was missing from the conversation around aging.
Women weren’t lacking products. They were lacking truth, understanding, and support. The industry was built on fixing, reversing, and chasing youth. But what if aging wasn’t something to fight…
What if it was something to understand, support, and honor?
The Sixth House Studio exists to guide women back to themselves— through expert-led, holistic skincare and wellness that works with the body, not against it.
SH products are going through a metamorphosis too. Think: simple rituals that truly support skin health with the good-for-you ingredients. This process takes time and can't be rushed. For now, enjoy our current collection which is still on sale.
The brand is not about anti-aging. It’s about coming home to your skin, your body, and your confidence, in a way that feels grounded, intentional, and deeply personal.
